Stockton International Riverside Festival

A family-friendly free outdoor festival in Stockton-on-Tees, which takes place on the first weekend of August. Block out your diary for three unmissable days of street theatre, dance, music and outdoor arts with a packed programme of shows for all the family. Expect to be surprised, entertained and delighted!

Price: All SIRF shows are free. However some shows are ticketed due to capacity or the use of specialist equipment.

Other Facilities

Our festival village, SIRF Green, is the place to be for delicious food and drink from our traders. You can also bring your own picnic. Open daily during the festival, there’s something to tickle everyone’s taste buds – and marvellous music too!

And as we’re in Stockton-on-Tees town centre, there are lots of shops, cafés and restaurants within walking distance to enjoy.

SIRF takes place in and around Stockton High Street. We encourage our visitors to choose low-carbon, healthy transport options and recommend walking or utilising public transport where possible. You can visit the Connect Tees Valley website to help you find the best options for your journey.
