Gosforth Civic Theatre

We are a welcoming and charity-run arts venue, café, and events space in Gosforth, just north of Newcastle city centre. In addition to our programme of music, theatre, and comedy, we run free activities for young people every Monday to Wednesday evening and family shows and film screenings every month.

Price: Film screenings are usually priced at £5 per ticket.

Tickets for family shows are priced from £9 for children and £11 for adults with Babes in Arms (up to 12 months) free.

Other facilities

  • We have a Café bar open all week from 8.30am until late Monday to Saturday and 9am – 4.30pm on Sundays. Find out more here

  • We serve lunch, brunch and bar snacks from our deli and we’re fully licensed.

  • We have colouring in and a selection of books available for your little ones when you visit.

How to find us

We’re less than one minute from Regent Centre Metro station, and many regular buses also run to Regent Centre from Newcastle all the way up to Alnwick.

We have a small car park which gets busy easily, especially on event days so visitors are advised to find alternative parking in the local area where possible, some of which we detail at on our website.
